University Outreach: Collaboration, Training, and Research Opportunities
The Center for Solid State Physics and New Materials at the Institute of Physics Belgrade actively collaborates with universities across Serbia, Balkan region, Europe and International to strengthen academic ties, support student development, and promote high-quality research in condensed matter physics and materials science.
As part of the University of Belgrade, we are closely integrated with undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral study programs, and we welcome students and university staff to engage with our research activities.
Our university outreach includes:
-
Supervision of master’s and doctoral theses within ongoing research projects
-
Guest lectures and short courses at partner institutions
-
Mentorship and collaboration with university teaching staff
-
Access to our labs and equipment for joint student projects and research training
-
Organization of internships and student practice programs
-
Participation in university career and science events
Our goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and hands-on research, offering students and young researchers real experience in experimental and theoretical work—from advanced spectroscopy to modeling of novel quantum materials.
We invite faculty, program coordinators, and student organizations to connect with us and explore ways to collaborate.
This program is actively led by our colleagues Dr Nataša Tomić, Dr Bojan Stojadinović, Dr Ivana Milošević and Dr Jelena Mitrić
